How We Started

Founder: Beverley Duncan Moncur Walkes

April 10th, 1950 – August 25th, 2017

Beverley migrated from Jamaica to the Bahamas in the early 70's. It was not long after that she started using her cooking talents and opened the popular Beverley's Kitchen.

We serve the best Bahamian and Jamaican dishes... breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.

Come and experience the combination of two countries cuisines in one place; it's an expulsion of food flavor like none other. Thanks to the late 'Mother Beverley' along with her husband, Sir K' and their vision to marry the two style of cooking that has created some of the most mouthwatering soul food you will ever taste!

From the steam Oxtail to Sir K's down home Boil-fish and
Stew- fish you are bound to be satisfied...come on down we would be delighted to see you!!!
